The Greater Golden Gate Little Scholars, Inc,  (formally known as the Redwood Empire Jr. Football Conference) is a Youth Football and Spirit Program that was initiated to provide a safe environment and healthy sport activities for girls and boys ages 5 to 15.  Our program has helped may local children around the Northern California area over the past 30 years.  We take pride in helping each and every participant develop self worth, self-discipline, teamwork, leadership qualities and physical fitness.  We highly encourage the children to strive for the highest scholastic achievement throughout the year and we acknowledge these children at our annual awards banquet.

GGGC is a proud member in good standings with Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc.  Pop Warner is the leading youth football, cheerleading and dance program in the world.  Pop Warner is endorsed by the National Football League and the National Spirit Association.

The GGGC is the Pop Warner administrator of eight associations.  GGGC governs associations in Alameda, Contra Costa, Sonoma, San Francisco and Solano counties with expected and return future growth into Marin, Napa, Sacramento, and Yolo counties. All members of our coaching staff, board of directors and game crews are volunteers.

Each year, teams compete for a trip to the Pop Warner Super Bowl and National Cheer and Dance Championships. In order to advance to the Pop Warner Super Bowl, a team must win its respective League Championship as well as the Regional Championship. Each advancing team is guaranteed to play two games at the Super Bowl with a Champion being crowned in each age-weight division and competition level. During the past 10 years, our program has achieved several Regional Championship Titles and we are proud to say we have several Nationally Ranked Football and Spirit Squads with 15 National Spirit Championship titles.
